Vape Delivery System (Training and Self-Administration)

$475.00

The Vape Delivery System is a self-contained training and self-administration platform designed for integration with existing home cages or operant chambers. It enables delivery of vapor from custom or commercially available formulations using off-the-shelf vaping devices. The system can also interface with common laboratory components, including LEDs and response buttons, and can be integrated with OS-RA or commercial pellet dispensers to support hand-shaping and operant training. Procedure selection, session control, and data acquisition are managed through a custom application running on the user’s laptop.

The system detects when a subject draws through the vapor-delivery tubing and can respond by dispensing food pellets, providing access to vapor, and/or delivering pump-assisted vapor according to user-defined fixed-ratio (FR) or variable-ratio (VR) schedules. Administration parameters are fully configurable within the software. An external researcher-operated button also allows stimuli or programmed events to be triggered remotely during training sessions, providing additional flexibility for shaping and experimental control.
